-Choose one song and the performance should not exceed 8minutes.
-Any form of instrumental performance is allowed, with the option of accompaniment by other instruments.
-Collaborative performances are allowed, but individual performance will be evaluated for scoring.
-No post-production editing is allowed for the video.

Awards for the competition
- Champion, First Runner-up, Second Runner-up: 1 winner in each category
(max. 12 participants per category)
Each will receive a trophy and certificate.
- Gold Award: Score of 90 or above
- Silver Award: Score of 80 or above
- Bronze Award: Score of 70 or above
- Honorable Prize: Score below 69
Attention
1. Each awardee will receive a participant certificate.
2. The winners will have the opportunity to participate in public performance for Elderlies homes or Community Centres.
3. After the public performance, each participant will have a certificate for recognising their Volunteer work.

8. 得獎者不得將獎項轉讓給其他人。
9. 參賽者上傳作品即表示同意接受比賽的所有條款和細則。如主辦機構認為有任何違反比賽相關條款和細則的行為，保留隨時取消參賽者參賽和獲獎資格的權利，並不設上訴機制。
10. 參賽者同意遵守主辦機構對比賽的所有安排，包括演繹、更改、取消或暫停比賽的條款和細則、獎項和其他安排，無需事先通知。
11. 評審結果以主辦機構的決定為準，參賽者必須遵從主辦機構的決定，不得提出異議。

The competition rules and declaration are followed:
1. All participants must upload their works before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
2. All entries must be the original works of the participants and not infringe upon the works of others.
3. Entries must not violate the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights, confidentiality rights, or privacy rights. Any violation will result in disqualification from the competition. Participants will be held responsible for any legal consequences if their entries violate any laws or regulations, and the organizing committee will not be held liable.
4. Entries must not contain obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, offensive, or controversial content. Failure to comply will result in disqualification without further notice.
5. Entries must not contain any commercial or political elements.
6. The personal information provided by participants will only be used for competition communication and sending competition notifications.
7. Please ensure that the personal information of participants is accurate. The organizing committee will not be responsible for any errors.
8. Winners are not allowed to transfer their winning status to others.
9. Once participants upload their entries, they agree to accept all the terms and conditions of the competition. If the organizing committee believes that there is any violation of the competition-related terms and conditions, they reserve the right to cancel the participation and winning qualifications of the relevant participants. There is no appeal mechanism for this competition.
10. Participants agree to abide by all the arrangements made by the organizing committee for the competition, including the interpretation, modification, cancellation, or suspension of the terms and conditions, awards, and other arrangements, without prior notice.
11. The judging results are based on the decision of the organizing committee, and participants must comply with their decisions without objection.
12. The organizing committee has the final and binding decision-making power over the competition, including the competition format, eligibility, winning qualifications, announcement of winners, and award collection arrangements.
13. All participants must comply with all the competition rules and regulations. Submission and participation imply agreement and understanding of the competition rules and declaration.
14. Participants acknowledge and agree that the entry fee paid for participation in the competition is non-refundable, irrespective of the competition's outcome or any other circumstances. The entry fee is a necessary component to cover administrative costs, prize funds, and other expenses associated with organizing the competition. Participants understand and accept that once the payment has been made, it will not be refunded under any circumstances, including but not limited to disqualification, withdrawal from the competition, or any technical difficulties encountered during the submission process.
15. Furthermore, participants acknowledge that the non-refundable nature of the entry fee is a fundamental principle of the competition, ensuring fairness and integrity in the selection process. The organizing committee invests considerable time, effort, and resources to review, evaluate, and judge all submitted entries. The non-refundable policy not only supports the sustainability of the competition but also discourages frivolous or insincere applications, as participants are committed to their submissions upon payment.
16. Participants are encouraged to carefully review all competition rules, eligibility criteria, and submission requirements before proceeding with the payment of the entry fee. In cases where participants may have doubts or questions regarding their eligibility or the competition's suitability for their work, it is advisable to seek clarification from the organizing committee prior to making the payment.
17. The organizing committee recognizes that unforeseen circumstances may arise that prevent participants from completing their submissions or participating in the competition after payment. However, the non-refundable nature of the entry fee remains in effect to ensure fairness to all participants and maintain the integrity of the competition. Participants are reminded to consider their commitment to the competition and their ability to fulfill all requirements before making the payment.
18. It is important to note that the non-refundable policy applies uniformly to all participants, regardless of their circumstances, and exceptions cannot be made. The organizing committee appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all participants in upholding this policy.
19. By proceeding with the payment of the entry fee, participants confirm their full understanding and acceptance of the non-refundable nature of the fee, releasing the organizing committee from any liability or responsibility regarding the refund of the entry fee.
20. The organizing committee assures participants that all funds collected through the entry fees will be utilized solely for the purposes outlined in the competition, such as supporting the prize pool, covering administrative expenses, and promoting future editions of the competition. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to the non-refundable money clause, which plays a crucial role in ensuring the fairness, transparency, and sustainability of the competition.
There are several reasons why we are not disclosing the jury members of the competition:
1. Independence and Unbiased Judgment: By keeping the identities of the jury members anonymous, the competition organizers can ensure that the judges make their decisions independently and without any external influence. If the jury members' identities are known, it may create opportunities for lobbying, favoritism, or potential conflicts of interest, which could compromise the integrity of the competition.
2. Avoiding External Pressure: Disclosing the jury members' identities could lead to external pressure or unwanted attention from participants, their supporters, or the public. This pressure may come in the form of social media campaigns, personal appeals, or attempts to influence the judges' decisions. Keeping the jury members anonymous helps shield them from such pressures and allows them to focus solely on evaluating the performances based on their expertise and judgment.
3. Protecting Privacy: Some jury members may prefer to remain anonymous to maintain their privacy. They might be prominent figures in the music industry or public figures who wish to avoid personal biases or public scrutiny that may come from their involvement in the competition. Respecting their privacy can help ensure that the judging process remains fair and impartial.
4. Preserving the Element of Surprise: Non-disclosure of jury members can add an element of suspense and excitement to the competition. Participants and the audience are kept in anticipation, wondering about the esteemed individuals who will evaluate the performances and determine the winners. This can enhance the overall experience and generate more interest and engagement in the competition.
5. Encouraging Broad Participation: Anonymity of the jury members can encourage a broader pool of participants to enter the competition. If aspiring musicians feel that the judging process is fair and impartial, they may be more inclined to participate, regardless of their connections or lack thereof. This inclusivity can lead to a more diverse range of talent and contribute to the discovery of new and emerging artists.
